Sorting and preselecting items in DisplayResultPicker

Hi all,

 

I would like to have some features in the DisplayResultPicker (depending on the value of an attribute they have) to be already selected for the user.

 

I'd also like to give the user the ability to sort the list on any of its attributes. I have a... sort of solution for that (it involves buttons, a while loop, and recreating the result picker with a newly sorted feature set).

 

What I actually want is to essentially just have the (table view) interface you get from Select Features, except with a checkbox that allows you to select/deselect a feature. (And then do something with the selected features).

 

Is any of this even slightly possible or am I going to have to see how far I can push the Display Form's Runtime Modifications to do what I want? (Or something else entirely...? I'm open to suggestions.)

  Hi Rik,

   

  If you still need this, you're likely going to be pushing the limits of the Display Form activity and the Runtime Modifications.  You might be able to do something fancy with markdown or dynamic layout (a stack of columns with a checkbox beside each one).

   

  Please do post to the Ideas section with your use case so it can be considered, though!
