site upgrade error
Has anyone else run into issues trying to upgrade an older site's viewer to the latest (2.11) viewer using Essentials Manager?
We have just installed the latest releases of Essentials and the HTML5 viewer. I copied one of our current 4.5.1 / 2.6.1 sites over and Manager opens the site without any issues but when I try to edit the viewer, I get the standard dialog saying the viewer is from a previous version and must be upgraded. If I click the 'Upgrade' button however, I get an error saying:
An error occurred while processing your request.

The detailed description of the error shows:

I don't see anything in the log that would point me to what value it thinks is null.
Anyone have a similar experience or have ideas on what could be going wrong?

No idea if it's related, but reading your question reminded me of the known issue in the release notes of "If upgrading directly from 4.5.x you may encounter an issue where the REST API and Manager fail to load due to a “Newtonsoft.Json, Version=6.0.0.0” assembly loading error." 0 -
Hi folks,
Peter ended up opening a Support case, and we found that there was a bug in the upgrader that only affected his particular viewer. The bug was fixed for the 2.11.2 release of the Viewer for HTML5.
