How to add a Directional Line Symbol in the html5 viewer.
We are working on application for routing tasks with network dataset and we felt the need to display the route result with a directional line symbol (with arrows pointing towards the direciton alongwith the path). I was able to find a geonet post related to the same approach, in this link - https://github.com/nickcam/DirectionalLineSymbol, but to achieve this task in Geocortex Essentials and HTML5 viewer is something where I have failed. I highly appreciate any guidance for this.

Are you wanting to show the direction symbol on a feature class/service or a drawing made in the viewer? I have plenty of lines symbols in services on my map that are just coming from the symbology in ArcMap on a feature class. 0 -
Hi.
On a feature generated by query / graphic on map. not for data from arc map.0 -
Hi Vipul,
The custom symbol from your github link could be used in the Viewer for HTML5, but would require a corresponding custom viewer module to load that symbol.
It may be possible to use the Update Graphics Layer workflow activity to update the renderer for a graphics layer with one that uses the rotation info visual variable (see https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/3/jsapi/renderer-amd.html#visualvariables) but I am not sure if that would work.
If you need assistance with this, open a case with your reseller and they should be able to help.
