Editing - Add Attachments to a Related Table

We are allowing users to add records to a related table through Essentials.  Everything appears to be working okay except that users can not add attachments.  What do we need to do to allow this?

  Hi Michael,

   

  To allow attachements to be added to a related table, please first ensure that attachments are enabled on the service.

   

  Then, make sure to add the related table to your Essentials site. It will not show in the layer list, but it needs to be in Essentials.

   

  Im the viewer, out of the box, to add an attachment to a feature or related feature, it is a 2 step process. First, create the related feature. You will not get the opportunity to add the attachment at this point. Then, when it is created, select it and on the hamburger menu on the top right of the panel, choose "Attach file or photo".

   

  If you think that this should be a more streamlined one-step process, then I would suggest adding an Idea to our Ideas (https://support.geocortex.com/GSCIdeas?c=09a6000000008RsAAI&filter=1&categ=all&sub-nav=ideas&main-nav=essentials&page=1) section outlining what you would like. Ideas can be voted on by other Geocortex users and the more votes, the more chance an Idea would get implemented.
