ResultsTableFeatureClickedBehavior not right scale/extent for big features

Hi,

I have a layer of features that are multipart polygons, some of which could cover an area fully visible only at scale 1:550,000

I have a custom search workflow that is able to retrieve features of this layer and I’m able to zoom to the extent that displays the full feature. I also display search result in result table.

 

When I click on the retrieved feature, in the result table, map zooms to the centre of the selected multipart but, for the big features, at a low extent (at the maximum 1:30,000). I’m thinking that 30,000 is set somewhere in the viewer but I cannot find any related setting in Desktop.json or site.xml

 

I also tried to change Commands setting within “ResultsTableFeatureClickedBehavior” to “ZoomToFeatures” or “ZoomToFeature” or “ZoomToFeatureSetCollection” but it didn’t help.

 

Any suggestion?

 

Additional info: Layers in the viewer have different visibilities. Max scale for layer that I’m searching for is 1:20,000 (but I’m happy to see only highlight when I’m zoomed out. Viewer can only zoom at a number of fixed scales between 1:500 and 1:1,500,000

  Hi Francesca,

   

  You might want to check the "Feature Zoom Factor" and "Feature Zoom Scale" settings in (Essentials Manager > Map > Edit Layer > Details tab).

   

  Since it sounds like the workflow is getting the extent right, but the viewer isn't, this might be better suited as a viewer question on support.geocortex.com (this is the workflow 5 community)

  Thank you Amanda,

  "Feature Zoom Factor” at layer level worked well and allowed me to remove “work around” within search workflow as well.
