List site layers

How to list the site's layers in WF5?

 

I wrote a workflow to do it the hard way by looping on integer ID values, but then I realised I must be missing something fundamental... what's the correct/best way to list site layers?

 

I needed this as I couldn't work out how to fire off a workflow with a user selected layer as/in context... any way to do this (feels like I'm missing something fundamental here too!)?

  Hi David,

   

  You can use the Get Essentials Site activity. In the output property, you can access layer information through =$site1.site.layerListRestEndpoint.items[x].id or .name.

   

  I'm not sure what you mean by your second question.

  Is this possible in a workflow within ESRI WebAppBuilder? how do i get a list of all the layers in my app?
