Highlight and Graphic layer order
Hi,
In a workflow (WF5) I copy and symbolize some features geometries in a graphic layer and display results in result table.
When I try to highlight one resultant feature hovering it, feature is identified correctly but “temporary highlight” is underneath the feature symbol.
Is it possible define highlight and/or graphic layer display order?
Thank you
Francesca

Hi Francesca,
Is this when you are hovering over a result in your results table? I am finding that when I hover over a feature, the corresponding feature in the map is highlighted in my "Focused Fill" colour (default blue) as set in Manager. Are you not seeing anything? Can you elaborate a little? What kind of features are you working with - points, polygons etc.? The highlighting should always be obvious with or without graphic layers.
Maybe there is something in your highlighting settings in Essentials Manager that is causing the focus highlight not to work?
Another note - there is a community here (https://communities.geocortex.com/s/topic/0TO60000000QpG5GAK/workflow) where workflow 5 questions are discussed exclusively.
Thanks,

Thank you Marion,
Sorry I’m just seeing your reply now.
I’m using polygon features.
I can see the highlight when I’m hovering over a result in the results table but the highlight is underneath the graphics that I have added on the graphic layer so highlight is not obvious at all. I have a particular logic that requires to add geometry of resultant features in the graphic layer. Can I set order of highlight layer to be on top of graphic layer?

Hi Francesca,
I apologise for the late response on this. I am not sure if this is still an issue for you. This has been reproduced and filed as a bug - BUG 26843.
Thanks,

Hi, just curious any update on this bug. Or is there a way to recorder the graphic layers? 0 -
Just find a way to hack it. I removed DefaultHighlightLayer from the graphicsLayerIds of the map object at the beginning of my workflow. and then add it back (to the end of graphicsLayerIds) after I added my customer graphic layer. 0
