Override scale in map service of Layer Catalog is not working correctly in HTML5viewer ?

GCX Essential 4.10.1 HTML5Viewer 2.11.1

 

Set overrided maximum scale to 1:200,000 on all map services in the Layer Catalog site. To diable all layers from layer catalog to display when zoom over 1:200,000 scale. 

 

The loaded-in layers display when reach map services' inital minimum scale and beyond the overwrite maximum scale. However, the layer name of the loaded-in layer is greyed out when over the 1:200,000 (the overwrite scale changes on layer list but not the map view).

 

 

Would it consider a bug for the HTML5 viewer ?

  This is being tracked now as bug #25252.  As a potential workaround, the Override Maximum Scale does still work correctly when the Override Minimum Scale is also set- you could set an extreme number for the minimum scale in order to cover any scale range that end-users would plausibly use.
