Permanently deleted user

Hi,

 

I am having some issues with configuring security for feature service editing. I am limiting the editing priviledges to a certain group of people only. So, I have created a new user with the admin role and added the security to my service in AGS only to this user. When it comes to configuring the service in Geocortex, I am adding permissions to this user only (Windows authenticated), same as the one used in AGS. However, I am not able to see my feature service layers at all. Please assist, thanks!

  If you mean to say that you have configured the Geocortex layer to be visible to a particular user, then only that user will be able to view the layer.  What I've done in the past is add the layer twice: one layer connected with the editing credentials which is only visible to my editors, and another layer without the editing abilities which is not visible to the editors.
