Labelling using ArcGIS Online feature layer
Hello,
I have Geocortex Essentials 4.8.2 and I'm trying to display labels from an ArcGIS Online Feature Layer. I have turned them on in the feature layer in ArcGIS Online and saved it, but when I bring that into Geocortex the symbology is correct, but the labels don't show. Is there anything I can do about this?
Thanks,
Lara

Hi Lara,
This is an improvement request, being tracked as GVH-7463. There are no immediate plans to implement it so I would look into working around the issue if you can.

Hi Wayne, is there any updates on this? We are migrating a number of our services to AGOL to reduce the load on our local servers and they all have labels. 0 -
We also have this issue with feature layers hosted on our Portal.
How is this bug not in the pipeline for development?
What workarounds can you suggest, Wayne Richard?0 -
We are also interested in a workaround (or preferable: a solution).

Hello Everyone,
I've added your names to the list of interested stakeholders. I'll let you know if and/or when we plan to include this in a future release.
Thanks, Stefan0 -
Update: I checked with the development team and it appears that this is currently possible, but missing documentation, which will be added soon.
As of GVH 2.11:
1. Edit the *.json.js file and search for this section:"id": "MapView",
2. In the "configuration": { section, add this in a new line:"showLabels": true
3. Save your changes.
Sorry for the confusion.0 -
Thanks Stefan,
it works.

Tom0
