Creating (or use) a Custom Workflow Region for Workflow 5

Is it possible to use another region for your form in  Workflow 5? (e.g. RightPanelRegion)

I tried the method presented in the KBA (https://support.geocortex.com/essentialsGSCkba?sub-nav=kba&main-nav=essentials&#!/feedtype=SINGLE_ARTICLE_DETAIL&criteria=BESTANSWERS&id=kA3600000004NlTCAU) , but not the desired result. 

 

Additionally, the help of the Target input is not clear whether or not another region is accepted. It is stated that a string is accepted (see image below). however nothing that I tried had the desired result.

 

 

In the viewer config I defined a custom container:
