    Hi Hwa Saup,

    I would try the following:

    1) review and edit the following file, it may have an incorrect location - C:\Program Files (x86)\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Essentials\Default\REST Elements\Manager\App_Data\RestManagerSettings.xml

    2) review and edit the following file, it may have an incorrect location - C:\Program Files (x86)\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Essentials\Default\REST Elements\Sites\Templates\Templates.xml

    3) submit a support case to look into it.

    Regards,

    Hi. Wayne,

    I see the html5viewer template in both locations.

    In RestManagerSettings.xml I see viewer:

        <ViewerFramework ProductID="*************************" TemplateID="Html5Viewer_2_11" Url=" https://myserver name/Html5Viewer" />

    In Templates.xml:

        <ViewerFramework ProductID="*****************" TemplateID="Html5Viewer_2_11" PhysicalLocation="C:\inetpub\wwwroot\Html5Viewer" RequiresUpgrade="false" />

    But in the restmanager, I still get "no viewer template installed".

    Do you see any VTE files on the server here - C:\Program Files (x86)\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Essentials\Default\REST Elements\Sites\Templates\

    I would recommend a screenshare to sort it out, it should be a quick fix.

    I'm seeing a similar problem on a server installed with GE 4.8.2 and GVH 2.9.2. GE REST Manager indicated that there was no VTE installed, although nothing has been touched since GE/GVH were deployed (and both the VTE lives in it's appropriate place under Sites and the HTML5Viewer still exists with the expected files under wwwroot). Also, the Post Installer showed the template being there as expected; running it again didn't change anything. Interestingly, the two aforementioned XML files actually had no entries for the ViewerFramework - and the edit dates on those files were from the installation period.

    So I edited those files to have the appropriate ViewerFramework entries but GE REST is still telling me that there is no template installed. And the actual viewer loads just fine, workflows work, etc.

    I'd say I was able to launch the viewer from GE REST within the last month, so this is a recent thing. Is it possible this is related to the TLS1.2 switch (since that's how I found this today, doing sanity testing for all my clients)? Where do I go next (without invoking a charge calling LG support)?

    Thanks in advance,

    Hi Cassandra,

    The TLS 1.2 change by ESRI is 9pm PST tonight so it's not likely due to any change ESRI made, unless you also made changes, but I am not aware of a TLS 1.2 change adversely affecting any customers.

    I believe you have basic support so I would suggest a support call, there are no charges for basic support.

    Regards,
