Login passwords revealed when "mousing" over past usernames

I often notice that when I sign in to a viewer, then click in the username box to move the mouse over the list of recent usernames to pick my own, the password box reveals each password in clear text as mouse pointer crosses its username. Eek! This is dangerous when demonstrating a viewer to others.

 

Does anyone else see this behaviour on their systems? Is it a known issue? I'm using Chrome Version 71.0.3578.98 (Official Build) (64-bit)

  Hi Justin,

   

  We have noticed an unfortunate interaction between Chrome's password manager and this login form, and we will be addressing this in the upcoming January release of Essentials.

   

  This should not occur in other browsers, though it may be possible that 3rd party password managers will also trigger the bug. Until this is addressed we recommend not saving your password when using Chrome, especially on a shared system.
