Does imagery in Geocortex project on the fly?
We have State Plane (WA S) imagery that we are loading from an image server into our Site(s). The bottom layer in our Site is Web Mercator (and all of our operational layers are Web Mercator). We have found that the imagery does not project on the fly as expected. Is this an issue in Geocortex or an issue further upstream (on the Image Server)?
Thanks beforehand for any help,
Michael

Hi Michael,
That depends on whether your imagery service is cached (tiled) or not. Non-tiled services are reprojected on the fly using the site's configured geometry service, but tiled map services can't be reprojected. All of the tiled services on a site need to having matching spatial references and scale levels in order to draw, otherwise only the ones that match the bottom-most service will work. See https://docs.geocortex.com/essentials/latest//admin-help/Default.htm#ge/admin/map.htm#spatial-reference-of-a-map
If your imagery service isn't tiled, but still doesn't draw, then you'll want to investigate the geometry service that the site is using (from the GIS Services page in Essentials Manager). You could also test the imagery service on its own fresh site to make sure there's no issues drawing the service when the map is in the same projection.0
