I have published a feature service for a web viewer. Can fields be auto-populated with metadata in geocortex. I would like the user and location fields to automatically populate when editors add new data.

Hi Jean-Pierre - Can you clarify. Our 5-Series Geocortex Web viewer doesn't yet support editing, is your question related to the 4-Series Geocortex Viewer for HTML5?

Hi Cam, yes, sorry I have a viewer dashboard platform on Geocortex Essentials 4.9. We have single-sign on users. I have enabled editor tracking in ArcCatalog on the feature services. Is there a way to get the individual user data after they sign in to the viewers and create new records instead of having the generic "Esri_Anonymous" creation user? I would also love to inherit the location data. Is there a way to auto-populate the town and county data during placement of a new record? Thanks for your help.

Let me get you started on the right path.
Yes it is possible to get actual user names for editing, but there are requirements for how the services are setup, and for how they are secured.
