portal items for post-install geocortex-5 products
Hello,
For post-install there must be portal item created
does this item needed to be shared?
for printing, reporting and workflow it must be a Web Mapping item but for Web it must be a application item.
can Web post-install also work with the same item used for the other products?

- The item does not need to be shared.
- Our documentation suggests using an Application item and it can be used for all 5-series products. See: https://docs.geocortex.com/reporting/latest/help/Default.htm#rpt5/help/installation-guide.htm#register-using-existing-item

The same help says create Web Mapping item:
- Type: Web Mapping
I first installed WF5 so I got a Web Mapping item.
Maybe more handy to change the help doc. to only make a Application item for every 5-series product.

Actually, in order to sign in with Workflow, Reporting, and Printing, the app does need to be shared with the users and group who will be accessing them; sorry I misspoke earlier.

Shared with users with access to the designer. For sharing with end users, you'll want to configure the settings on the created workflow, reports, and print template items.
