Authorization for server-side workflow

Does anyone have experience with authorizing server-side workflows?

 

With legacy workflows this was easy, because a workflow was an integral part of a site, and could therefore only be accessed if a user was logged in to the GCX REST interface.

 

To my understanding, a server-side workflow is now hosted on some server, and could be accessed by anyone who knows the correct URL.

 

One idea that occurred to me was to have this workflow validate the ArcGIS Token and check if the user belongs to a certain group (which is easy), but I don't know how to get the token from the viewer.

  Hi Berend,

   

  Take a look at the information listed in the docs under this section. Most of these settings narrow down to sharing the workflow with specific users or groups, based on if you wish for them to have authoring or runtime capabilities.
