How to query a scene layer
Does anyone have an example of a workflow that queries a scene layer, and then highlights the selected features?
When I use Query Layer on a scene layer, I don't get any results back.
I found out that the webviewer itself queries the feature layer. When I do that, I get results, but the geometry is only the 2D footprint of the 3D object.
And last, how do I actually highlight a feature? I assume I need to call 'highlights.add', but what are the parameters? Is there any documentation somewhere?

Hi Berend Veldkamp,
Apologies for digging this up, but did you manage in the end to highlight a 3D object itself rather than just the 2D footprint? If so, how exactly? As I'm facing a similar issue.
Thanks

Hi Nils,
Sorry, I never got this working. Perhaps someone at Vertigis knows how to do it.

It has been 3 years since the last post in this topic but I have a similair question and maybe anyone can help me to the next step.
We have multipatches in a webscene in a studio web app and I would like to hotlink (open viewer, zoom and select) to a specific multipatch based on an ID.
This already works for 2D objects in a webmap, we use a launch link with a workflow which does the query and the zooming / panning, but I'm not sure where to start for a webscene.
