Allow easy editing of app configuration files

Sometimes I need to to edit a projects configuration file manually, for instance to add items not yet available through the editor, or when the editor breaks the configuration so the project can no longer be loaded in the designer.

 

This is cumbersome, because I first have to download a zip file, then unzip it, edit file(s), zip the modified files, and finally upload the configuration again.For corrupt projects it is not even possible to download their configuration files.

 

I'd like to propose to add an option to the start page, that lets us open and edit a project's configuration files directly inside the browser, without having to actually open the project itself.

  Hi Berend - Our goal is to make things accessible in Designer, so we don't have current plans to encourage folks to edit the files directly. I sent you an e-mail with a bit of additional information.
