Run Workflow from Layer Actions Context Menu to Open Attribute Table

I am trying to create the equivalent of an 'Open Attribute Table' tool.

 

 

This basic GIS functionality has always been missing from Geocortex and there is no indication that the developers have any interest in implementing it, despite this six-year-old Idea:

My hope is that I can create a workflow that runs a simple query on the chosen layer, selecting all records, then switching to the table view.

 

 

Depending on the capability of the service in question, the results may reach their limit (typically 1,000 or 2,000 records), so I would need to check for this and provide an appropriate message.

 

 

I'm pretty sure I can achieve most of the above, but have hit a hurdle at the first step: specifying the layer to query.

 

 

I think that the most suitable location for this workflow is in the Layer Actions context menu and, whilst it is easy enough to add a workflow to this menu, I don't know how to pass layer information to that workflow.

 

 

I thought I could use something like the {{context}} token, if not {MapServiceID} and {LayerID} but I'm either on the wrong path or am failing to get the syntax correct.
