Issue with proxy.ashx creating Attach forbidden error in 4.12

Hello,

 

 

I'm building a site on GE 4.12 ad I get the "File attachment failed: forbidden error" The message in Fiddler looks like below: 

 

 

POST https://gis.miottawa.org/ottawa/geocortex/drainassessment/proxy.ashx?https://gis.miottawa.org/gisweb/rest/services/Editing/DrainAssessEdit/FeatureServer/6/18125/addattachment?token={token here}.

 

403 Forbidden (text/html)

 

 

I have the REST url set up in proxy.config but I still get the error. I have a similar site built in 4.10 where attachments work just fine. One difference though is that 4.10 is authenticated using AGO and our 4.12 instance uses Portal with AD credentials allowed through Windows Autentication. I found the forum post below which talks about an issue GVH-16048 which sounds really similar to what's happening with us:

Similar to what the above post says, users can see attachments added by other means (in our case Collector for ArcGIS), but can't add them in the site directly. It looks like this issue might be a couple years old, has there been any movement on it?

  So it looks like the AddAttachment activity in a workflow will work and provides a workaround, but I'd still like to have the native Attachment functionality working if at all possible
