is there away to repopulate Drop down list element in run time

I have drop down list populated using ARCGIS query sub workflow and I add button so the user can add new values to the source table.

how I can refresh the list in drop down to add the new value to the list.

  I think one of the solution would be to put the same subworkflow in the click event of the button which finally point to the dropdownList elements
