Getting a 404 error from F5 load balancer
We are configuring a F5 load balancer for our Essentials cluster. We can access rest sites endpoint directly (https://gcx1.mycompany.ca/Geocortex/Essentials/Rest/sites). But F5 throws out "HTTP Error 404. The requested resource is not found."
Our Essentials are installed on servers using a DNS alias (eg, gcx1.mycompany.ca). This DNS was entered in post installer. This was not enough. It was also added to IIS Site Bindings as a host header. Otherwise, Geocortex won't work.
Compared with ArcGIS Web Adaptor, a host header is not needed, and F5 LB is working fine. I was wondering if the host header caused a 404 error. Any ideas? If we don't use host headers, how can we make Geocortex to work?
Thanks,
Charles

Hi Charles,
Were you able to come up with a solution for this issue?
Thanks

Hi Adam,
I resolved the problem by removing host headers in IIS bindings.
