adding same layer from service with different dynamic definitions

Hello,

 

Is this possible?  I want to add the same rest endpoint multiple times and use different dynamic definitions on each one.  When I try it causes an error which says

 

 

Site may not function properly.

 

The following warnings were encountered:

• The map service with display name "Feature Observation Points" contains the following duplicate layer IDs: 2

So in this case the layer is feature observation points.  From that I want to create a threatened species and a Phytophthora layer

 

 

Any help would be much appreciated.

  Did you edit site.xml manually?

  I added a proxy page to one but not the other and it seems happy. Fingers Crossed. Probably not ideal.
