User Testing opportunity - Greater configurability over appearance and layout of Workflow display forms
In mid-to-late 2019 we began gathering suggestions and input for improving Workflow forms.
We've been busy adding new form elements (voted on by you) and more recently have done a design for giving more flexibility around display form layout.
Under the hood, three new capabilities are planned.
- The ability to control the vertical/horizontal orientation of the form element 'content'. For example imagine a group of radio buttons, do you want them stacked vertically in a column, or side-by-side in a row?
- The ability to control the position of the form element title. For example do you want the title to be above the text input, or beside the text input?
- The ability to tell a component that you don't want it to start on a new row, but instead want it to place itself on the same row after the previous form element. For example, you may want a First Name text input field and a Last Name text input field side by side on the same row.
We are currently in the process of designing how you will interact with these new abilities in Workflow Designer.
If you have ever done anything with Workflow and are interested, we would love to have you participate in a (virtual), 60-minute user testing session to help us hone our designs.
Just send us an e-mail at usertest-ca@vertigis.com and let us know you are interested.
We hope some of you are willing to jump in and help us make this a great user experience for everyone!

We have prepared a short 15 minute (or less) test for our new Display Form layout options. The first round of testing with people that graciously volunteered to perform the test has been completed and now we're now opening up the testing to the wider Geocortex user base.
The link for the test will be open from now until the end of June. Please take a few minutes to perform the tasks and provide some input to help us improve Geocortex Workflow.

Note: Please try not to refresh or close the tab until you are done. This can lead to the system prematurely thinking you have finished the test.
Thanks in advance for your time and input.
