Is it possible to add a predefined text graphic to the map

I have a workflow that generates some geometry and adds to the viewer. I also want to put some text onto the map. Using AddTextMarkup (via the runexternalcommand activity), the user is prompted with a box to enter text, but how do i text without the prompt?

 

(using the old essentials workflow )
