Map features not loading as app follows user

I've noticed that if you have the app following your gps position as you drive along it will not always load new features as you move out of the initial area where it starting following you. If you manually interact with the map or phone in anyway it will download the features that should be on screen. This only happens in Online mode. Is there a setting somewhere that controls that, or is the app designed this way for some reason?

  Thanks for our post. We've done some testing internally to try and reproduce this issue but haven't been able to.

   

  Can you provide some details about your device, OS, Geocortex Mobile version, approximate size of the map area and density of features to help us in reproducing it?

  Hi Stefan,

   

  I've seen this problem on Geocortex Go version 5.14.2.561 on a Pixel 3 with Android 11 and Android 12, and a Pixel 6 with Android 12. Sometimes new features do load though so it is intermittent. I have not found a way to make it happen or not though, seems random so far.

  Hi Max,

   

  Yes, we've done some testing on both Android and iOS. We did want to confirm which mode are you using as we are able to reproduce this in flashlight mode only.

  Yes, I've only seen it in flashlight mode. On a side note it would be nice to have that smooth follow in the other mode instead of jumps.?

  Hi Max,

  Thank you for your patience while we've investigated this issue. We confirmed that the issue is an underlying Esri bug, reported it to them, they have confirmed/reproduced, and filed a bug with their team. Once this has been resolved on their side, it will included in a future update, which we will include in a Studio Go release.
