Switch activity in Workflow 5 - How do I use it?
Good afternoon,
I am trying to use a Switch activity in my workflow, but cannot find any information on how to make it work. I can connect other activities to it, but don't know how to make it do anything with them. The help file gives no example or explanation, and I am struggling to find any examples of where it's used to see how it's done. Can someone please post an explanation?

I am fairly new to workflow but I use a switch to alter the workflow as the user selects different options and different things need to happen, for example, click "Next" or "Cancel". It's pretty simple to set up and in my case is connected to a form and the action buttons: Next, Cancel for example. Make sure the properties match the case of your buttons. For example, if your next button has a value of "Next" make sure to enter "Next" and not "next" (case sensitive).

This sample was from the VertiGIS workflow demo sites, lots of great examples that you can load into your workflow (by URL) and see how things are connected.

Thank you Tonya. This is helpful. I had not found the sample site before this, so I am most grateful you pointed me to it. I had mistakenly posted to this thread before realizing it not the most appropriate, and seeing no way to delete, I posted again in the proper place. So I have other responses there, too, for anyone else who might benefit.

Thanks Justin Kraemer. It is my understanding VertiGIS is working on a new sample site too, so keep an eye on the community for that release.
