Field access to fields not included in webmap layer's popup
I would like to access a feature's value for a field that I have intentionally not included in the webmap layer's popup. Specifically, I am trying to create an External Link without also showing the hyperlink in the result details and popup. If I build an external link for a layer, using a field that does exist within the feature layer, but not within the popup, it doesn't appear to access the value. If I add the field into the webmap layer's popup, it starts working. Can I have a field not visible in the popup but still accessible by the External Link module?

Do you happen to have "Enable Client-Side Data" setting enabled for the layer in your app by any chance.

I did not have that on. I sort of want the opposite of that, "When enabled, all fields that are configured in the layer's PopupTemplate will load client-side." I want to access a layer's values for fields that are not in the popup.
See my screenshot. I have fields: X, Y, Platlink, Recorder configured in the webmap popup. I really don't want to display them. But if I don't include them in the webmap popup, then I can't use those values to complete the External Links below.

Did you ever find a solution to this? We are having the same issue. We want to be able to access fields for use in workflows and the “open a URL” command but we do not want them visible in the Results Details.
