Delete a maparea
According to the documentation, we can delete the data for an offline area, but the map area definition itself is not deleted. Is there a way to delete the area too?
I understand this wouldn't be possible for an area defined in Portal, but it should be possible for an area that is manually create by a user, right? (or using the offline.create-area operation)

Hi Berend
I'll answer with an example. As you say - this only applies to Custom Map Areas.
If I create and download a custom map area - it then displays in the Map Areas panel and allows me to activate it.
To delete the data for this area - I hit the Edit button which gives me access to the 'remove data' button. Clicking this removes the data - but leaves the Map Area definition.
Once the data is removed - the button changes to 'Remove Map'. Clicking this removes the definition from the Map Areas list and resets back to only showing pre-defined (and any other custom) map areas.
Is that what you were looking for?

Hi Cam,
Sorry, I should have mentioned I want to do this from a workflow using the offline.* operations.

Aaah - I get it. Our Commands and Operations docs report:
This comment (which we're updating) isn't entirely correct. This command works the same as the delete button in the map area panel. The first time it runs it removes the data (if the map area has been downloaded). Run it again (once the data is gone) to remove the definition.
Does that help?
