How to provide Studio Web Application Access to ArcGIS Hub User Accounts
Getting the following message when Hub Community users try to sign in. The associated AGOL items (app, web map, workflows etc) are all shared to a group in which the Hub Community members are a part of.

HI Carl - Are the users signing into Hub part of another AGOL org in your organization? From a bunch of different AGOL orgs?
What version of VSW are you running?
Let's dig in a bit here ... but we might want to convert this one to a support ticket if we can't track it down in a couple of back-and-forths here.

Hi Cam Barnard, was there any further discussion on this outside of this thread? I was wondering if ArcGIS Hub is supported for secured Studio Web apps.

Carl Hughes Did you ever find a solution?

This is still a problem for us. Our VertiGIS products are licensed in our main AGOL org, but the core of our users for a particular Studio Web App are members in our associated Hub org. I've tried sharing the VertiGIS components (Workflows and App), as well as just the AGOL Web Map, but I still get the same error.

Carl Hughes Thanks for the reply. Did you open a support ticket? I just opened one and will reply back if a solution is found.

Kudos to Amanda Frech at VertiGIS for helping me find a solution. I was able to create a group in my original, employee AGO and invite a member of my Hub AGO to view an application. The key was to change the group's setting of "Who can be in this group?" to just "Partnered collaboration and my organization's members only". It did NOT work if it was set to "Any organization's members".
