Test a Template

Hi all,

I adjusted a Studio Web Projekt Template for internal and external (by Customers) use. As a Map and all related Workflow/Layout Template I used our internal references saved in our Portal. But when I tryed to use it by a Customer the json file that I downloaded gave me errors and I can't even open it to replace the Map or other components.

Has anyone Ideas how I can do it and test it? I naturally haven't alway access to the Customers Environment, so I don't know how to avoid mistakes.

  Hi Donatella,

  A few of questions: 

  Is the version of VertiGIS web the same in both your environment and the customers (Found under Help)? 

  Have you tried saving a copy (File - Save As) of your VertiGIS web app template and replacing the map with a simple map. For example: https://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=29f5b94f572d4dcd8a45c1fc095fd528
  When you download the template after this it might be able to open when you upload it as it should be able to see this map.

  Can you see any errors in the developer console (in the browser press Ctrl-Shift-I)?
