Now Available: VertiGIS Studio Desktop 2.0.1
This release of VertiGIS Studio Desktop delivers a targeted maintenance update focused on refining catalog interactions, enhancing navigation via geocoding integration, and resolving critical stability issues in versioned editing and Entry Point configuration. Version 2.0.1 improves the reliability of the Attribute Form, optimizes performance for projects with high layer counts, and introduces a new workflow activity to extend programmatic control over imagery.
✨ New Features and UX Improvements
- Integrated Geocoding in Map Navigator: Users can now perform address searches directly within the Map Navigator using ArcGIS Online geocoding. The interface provides up to seven smart suggestions after the first five characters are entered, enabling rapid navigation and zooming to precise locations. [367000]
- Optimized Catalog Selection Logic: This update resolves an edge case in the Attribute Form where single-element results failed to trigger selection events. Additionally, all catalog queries now enforce an ORDER BY clause to ensure consistent, sorted result lists and prevent entries from being hidden by database limits. [356087]
- Set Image Layer Options Workflow Activity: This release adds support for a new Studio Workflow activity that enables the programmatic configuration of image layer properties, allowing for more dynamic raster data interactions during guided sessions. [181087]
- Workflow Debugger Mode: A new debugger mode for Studio Workflows is included to assist administrators in troubleshooting. This mode allows users to click through settings and identify exactly where a workflow fails.
🐞 Bug Fixes
- Catalog Schema table selection now correctly filters for database tables rather than incorrectly listing sublayers. [368909]
- Resolved a significant performance leak that occurred when generating class lists for maps containing more than 50 layers. [367983]
- Fixed a UI issue where multi-level catalog fields displayed internal database values instead of the appropriate readable labels in the Attribute Form. [363811]
- Corrected a failure where affected objects in the Attribute Delta Analyzer were not reloaded following a branch version change. [352775]
- Fixed a critical bug where an invalid icon URI in a single Entry Point would block the entire Entry Point list from loading. [356369]
- Resolved an issue preventing Ribbon Type Entry Points from being successfully added to new or existing ribbon tabs. [354821]
- Fixed a failure where modifying polygon geometry via the Edit Geometry tool in the Attribute Form would not apply or save the changes. [356261]
- Resolved a bug preventing attribute changes from committing properly when using Catalog Mode instead of Tree Mode. [355939]
- Enabled the ability to restrict Entry Points on the Attribute Form Toolbar to specific classes for improved workflow consistency. [359345]
- Fixed a persistence bug where the Master Mode state from a Bulk Update session would erroneously inherit into the Layer Query view. [359231]
- Resolved a failure where attribute changes made to a Master Record in Bulk Update were not properly saved or propagated to the asset list. [358030]
- Implemented validation to prevent application crashes caused by entering an invalid or unrecognized WKID during survey data imports. [362697]
- Fixed a synchronization issue where switching branch versions failed to clear the Attribute Form and Result List. [360123]
