Get Ready! VertiGIS Studio Web 5.41 Release Candidate is Here!
Great news! The Release Candidate for VertiGIS Studio Web 5.41 is now ready, and our team has officially started the final regression testing phase.
We are targeting Wednesday, April 15th, 2026, for the General Availability (GA) release.
This release focuses on empowering end-users with robust new printing capabilities and enhancing map readability, while providing administrators with more control over data integrity and performance.
✨ Highlights in Studio Web 5.41 ✨
🖨️ Next-Generation Printing Capabilities Empower your users to extract exactly what they need with precision and reliability.
- Targeted Result Printing End-users can now generate single, grid, or line prints directly based on features from their selection, query, and identify results.
-
Massive Print Job Support Studio Web now utilizes the 'Uploads' capability of geoprocessing services. This allows users to send complex, high-resolution print requests without hitting standard environment size limitations.
- Please note For the 'Uploads' capability, on-premises environments require administrators to explicitly enable this capability on the relevant service. Web instances using SaaS Printing endpoints will benefit automatically.
-
Optional Output Validation Administrators can now enable strict output validation to ensure all expected content is present before a print is returned.
- Important Technical Details When enabled, print jobs take approximately 20% longer to process. If the validation fails (e.g., an Esri endpoint fails to return a layer), the entire print job will fail, preventing incomplete maps from being distributed.
🗺️ Enhanced Map Readability and 3D Context Provide a clearer, more dynamic visual experience directly in the browser.
- Dynamic 2D Polygon Labeling Map text remains perfectly legible during navigation, thanks to new automatic repositioning and dynamic anchoring for polygon labels.
- 3D Basemap Administrators can now enable the use of the Living Atlas 3D Basemaps, giving end-users rich, authoritative context when working within 3D scenes.
🚀 Modernization and Performance We are committed to keeping your web applications fast, modern, and reliable.
- Core Technology Updates We have bumped the underlying engine to ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript 5 and updated our Studio Workflow integration to version 5.50.
- Optimized Data Imports Users can confidently upload large external datasets again. We have resolved KML memory crashes and ensured DXF file uploads correctly maintain line thickness, color formatting, and specific spatial references (EPSG 7855 and 25832).
