Refresh list in Experience Builder after updating Layer Definition Expression

Hello,

I have a workflow that I am running in ArcGIS Experience Builder (Dev edition v1.17.0) that does 2 things:

1. updates the Definition Expression of a layer using the “Set Layer Definition Expression”.  
2. Updates a value of a field from NO to YES.  

My experience also has a list of values from that same layer, but this list is not getting updated when I change the definition expression (which should limit the number of records in the list).  I need to refresh the entire app for the changes to be made.  It does update the NO YES value as I have the auto refresh at interval set on the layer.
I am just wondering if there is a way to update the list based on the definition expression set in the workflow?
