Using buffer on results from workflow gives zero results.

The Buffer Results action does not return any output when run on results generated in the VertiGIS Studio Web app by a workflow. 

However, the Buffer Results action works as expected when the result list contains results obtained by identifying features on the map.

I see that this issue was mentioned before, but there were no solutions.

  This issue is logged internally as BUG 283900.

  There is a workaround you can try:

  1. Open your app in Web Designer
  2. From the components list, select the Results List component
  3. From the Result Actions list, select the Buffer Results action
  4. To the right of the pencil icon (change command button), click on the workflow icon
  5. Provide a name for the workflow (eg. Buffer Identify Command) and proceed
  6. Find the new workflow in your Portal or ArcGIS Online account, and share the item so your users can run it

  This process will convert the command chain that the "Buffer Results" option runs into a workflow that runs the exact same command chain. I'm not not sure why, but this works around the issue without changing the intended behaviour.
