VertiGIS Studio Web Deployment : Pre-Deployment Summary error
Hi All,
I got the following error pointing to the server workflow when I deploy the vertigis web through deploy to production feature from the Deploy section.
"This app contains references to items stored in different portals or items that use a different Registered App for signing in. Deploying is not supported in this scenario.
https://uat.gis.com/portal/sharing/rest/content/items/123450605bd3456087d8fd6ef0312345"
I think there might be some permission issue or some setting might wrong. Note: it only happen when there is referencing to the server workflow in the vertigis web.
Can you guide me on it?
Portal for arcgis and vertigis are in different domain (will it be the case?)
Versions as in the console log
Application version: 5.25.0
VertiGIS ArcGIS-Extensions version: 40.5.0
VertiGIS Viewer-Spec version: 55.0.0
VertiGIS Studio Workflow version: 5.34.0+37
Esri ArcGIS API version: 4.26.5
however actual workflow server version is 5.42

Hi Than!
I think it has to do with how the vertigis studio applications are registered in your portal. If all the applications (e.g. Web, Workflow and Printing) are registered as the same application in your portal. It is during the post installation step for each part, see for instance the documentation for registering VGS Web in your portal.
See also this call about the same issue
Hope this helps! Johanne

Thanks Johanne,
I have followed the post you reference before, the behaviour for after registering to one application, I manage to deploy to production. However, none of the workflows are not working in production and only client workflows are deployed.
For server workflow, I got the error as “This item required additional authentication, .x….. cannot be copied” and never copied.
Anyway, It improve better than that kind of “pre deployment summary error” . I think some kind of access might need to deploy across different portal. Does it matter with different domain between vergis and portal? Azure AD entra is used in portal.
In the deployment strategy : I got all "Access and privileges successful" message for both environment. The deployment is setup for cross portal environment.
Best Regards,
Than

Later I solved it out by adding all server workflow into the hidden panel.
