Make Error Data More Actionable
Hi. For a VSW app, in the trends tab, there's a section for errors. Good start, but there's not enough information to do meaningful troubleshooting. Typical messages are like:
- Failed to initialize item: [request:server]: Failed to fetch.
- [WF: activity error] Failed to fetch
- [WF: activity error] User does not have privileges to perform this operation
- Cannot read properties of null (reading 'path')
So, the ask is to provide the details needed for admins to investigate. If the error occured with a workflow, show the workflow name, or link to the portal item. If the error happened on a generic map action, list what that action was. If the problem was loading a service, show the service\layer name. And like that.
