Select record based on ID from launch link workflow

I'm trying to figure out the method to creating a launch link workflow that would select a record from a map layer based on its objectid.

The use case is making a custom link sent via an auto-email when we get a new street maintenance request. I want to be able to run a workflow that selects the request in our VSW app via a launch link that provides that objectid as an input argument/parameter.

Anyone know or have an example of how to do this? I've been able to make a workflow that select a records using a hard-coded objectid, so now I'm struggling with how to add the objectid as an input parameter.
