This release of VertiGIS Studio Mobile is a significant foundational update, focused on modernizing the core technology and ensuring compatibility with future platforms. This version delivers major framework upgrades to .NET 9 and the latest Esri ArcGIS Maps SDK, introduces new configuration opportunities for managing group layer expansion in Layer Presets, provides full compatibility with upcoming mobile operating systems like iOS 26, and includes important updates to our minimum OS requirements to align with industry standards.

✨ New Features

• Control Group Layer Expansion in Layer Presets: App builders now have more control over the user experience. A new 3-state option in the App Designer allows you to configure group layers in a Layer Preset to be expanded, collapsed, or have their state unchanged when the preset is applied, guiding users to the most relevant data. 🚀 Technology & Performance Upgrades

This release includes major updates to our core technology stack to improve performance, security, and stability:

• The application's underlying framework has been upgraded to .NET 9. [315038]
• The Esri ArcGIS Maps SDK has been updated to version 200.7. [318024]
• The integrated VertiGIS Studio Workflow engine has been updated to version 5.47. [341615]
• The Android build process and configuration have been updated to comply with the latest Google Play requirements, including 16kb page alignment and targeting Android SDK 35. [340111, 341611]
• The sideload .apk package for Android no longer includes 32-bit libraries, resulting in a smaller and more modern application package. [309256]

Bug Fixes

This release includes a wide range of fixes that enhance stability and usability across both the mobile app and the App Designer. Significant attention was given to improving the reliability of workflows, addressing issues with the Get Layer and Create Feature activities. We have also resolved several bugs related to DateTime Picker form elements to ensure they correctly handle validation, dynamic dates, and localization settings.

Several UI and layout inconsistencies have been corrected, including problems with edge-to-edge display on Android 15, the layering of the delete confirmation dialog, and an error that occurred when using the Legend and Basemap Picker components together. For app builders, we've improved the App Designer by fixing a critical issue where Layer Preset configurations for MMPK layers could be lost after an upgrade, and we've enhanced the component drag-and-drop experience. Additionally, a fix has been implemented to ensure core tools like Measure and GPS initialize correctly on all supported iPhone devices

Important Changes to Operating System Support

To ensure our users benefit from modern, secure operating systems, we are updating our support requirements.

• Retirement of Windows 10 Support

In alignment with Microsoft's official retirement of Windows 10 this month (October 2025), VertiGIS Studio Mobile 5.38 will no longer officially support this version. We strongly encourage customers to finalize their migration to a supported Windows 11 version to ensure continued compatibility and support. The official system requirements have been updated to Windows 11 or later.

• New Minimum Requirement for iOS/iPadOS 17

To leverage the latest security and performance features from Apple, support for iOS 16 and iPadOS 16 has been deprecated. The new minimum requirement to run VertiGIS Studio Mobile is now iOS 17 or later.

• Future-Ready: iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 Compatibility

Looking ahead, this version has been fully tested and validated for compatibility with the upcoming iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 releases. [338722]
