ensure features within print?

Is there a way to ensure that the features of interest on the map are within the print preview for your print layout (with the new print engine) when using the Run Print activity in workflow? I geocoded some points and plotted them on the map, then set the extent to be a little larger than them and it looks fine on the Studio Web map, but just based on how the map part of my layout is, some points keep getting cut off. I've tried making the map element as large as possible, but it would be nice if there's some check to use against the features themselves to ensure they fall within the print.
