When you hit Enter on a form, why does the workflow end???
I feel like I must be missing something obvious here… I have a workflow that has 2 activities. A Display Form, which contains a single text box, along with the standard button bar with Submit and Cancel buttons. The Submit button has both the “Default” and “Causes Validation” options checked (this is the default). The second activity is just an Alert box to alert me that the workflow flow continues after the Display Form activity. I have this workflow linked to a button in Studio Web.
When running the workflow from a button in Studio Web (on a Windows PC), if I type something in the text box and then click the Submit button, it correctly shows the Alert box. However, if I type something in the text box and hit Enter, the workflow ends without showing the Alert.
If I run it in the sandbox, if I type in the text box and then hit Enter, it shows the Alert. This is what I would expect.
Any ideas what's going on?

It looks like we have this logged internally as bug 251076. According to our notes, the Enter key works as expected the first time per session that you run the workflow, but if you re-run the workflow again afterwards it has this issue. I'll mark you as a stakeholder on the bug.
It does seem like the issue might be limited to the just the Alert activity. If I replace the Alert with a similar user-facing activity like Prompt or Display Form, it doesn't have the same problem.
