Layer comparison tool with subgroups

Hi,

I see that the tool now offers the option to choose between groups and all layers. However, I have all my layers in subgroups and as far as I can tell, there are no separate selection options.

I'm currently seeing all the layers (over 100), but without any filtering options and not in alphabetical order. So selecting a layer isn't very user-friendly.

Am I missing something?
