Now Available: VertiGIS Studio Mobile 5.37
This release of VertiGIS Studio Mobile significantly enhances the offline experience by introducing powerful new Local Data Management capabilities in Studio Go. This major new feature provides users with direct control over their downloaded data packages right from within the app. Alongside this, version 5.37 delivers more flexible Layer Presets, new workflow capabilities for editing, and a more intuitive drag-and-drop experience in the App Designer.
New Features
- Local Data Management: You can now view and manage your downloaded MMPKs directly within the Studio Go app. This new capability allows you to see a list of all local data and delete items when they are no longer needed, giving you more control over your device's storage.
- Set Geometry Picker Value with Workflows: Workflows can now pre-fill the Geometry Picker with a value.
- Layer Presets have been improved to now support ignoring visibility changes on a layer.
Behavioral Changes and UX Improvements
- The App Designer now supports interactive drag-and-drop of components into container components, enabling a faster and more intuitive layout editing experience.
- The highlights.add command now correctly adds to existing highlights on the map instead of replacing them, allowing for more complex, multi-step highlighting workflows.
Bug Fixes
This release includes numerous fixes that improve stability and performance across the platform. Key issues addressed include problems with offline map area activation on iOS and errors during secondary portal sign-in. Performance has been improved for both the LogViewer when handling debug-level logs and for the UI on UWP devices. We have also resolved a variety of UI and layout inconsistencies affecting components on the map, toggle controls, and the Windows taskbar label. Finally, fixes have been made to improve the stability of workflows, hyperlink handling, and the import of Mobile Map Packages in the App Designer.
Upcoming OS Support Changes:
To align with Microsoft's retirement of Windows 10 in October 2025, VertiGIS Studio Mobile will no longer officially support Windows 10 starting with the 5.38 release (October 2025). We encourage customers to begin their migration to a supported Windows 11 version.
