Basemap Picker - warnings about coordinate systems

If you add a custom basemap, and the basemap's coordinate system is different from the map, you get an error message that says “Spatial references are not compatible”.

But if you add an ESRI basemap, you get no such error. The basemap just never appears in the map when you select it because the coordinate systems don't match.
