VertiGIS Studio Suite "Clone on Save" option.

I would like to see a feature added to the entire VertiGIS suite that acts as a restore point (like site.xml did for Essentials) which triggers cloning of items upon saving and a parameter that lets me choose how many or how long those clones are kept.  There isn't good retention or breadcrumbing of site changes, and in several cases, having a cloned item to use as a restore point would have saved me so much time.
