Studio Web Search Capabilities - Disabling the Geometry Clause
We have been extensively testing the Search performance in VertiGIS Studio Web. We have compared it with the HTML5 Viewer, Experience Builder, and ESRI Web maps.
VertiGIS Studio Web by default includes a geometry clause when you have search enabled on layers. This is causing very slow responses from our servers. The ability to disable this would be very valuable for us and our users to have better performance.
Studio Search is a good solution, however would not be required for us, if this parameter can be disabled. Studio Web Search also sends extra query requests to the same layer with only the geometry changing. This is extra requests that we don't feel the need to be there.

I have already played around with this parameter. However it just disables the extent, it does not remove the geometry clause. So it uses the extent of the map to search against and in many cases this would return 0 results.
This is not a solution for the issue we are encountering.1
