use custom library in workflow sandbox
Hello,
I've got a custom library .js.txt item for one of our WebApps which functions i call through vertigis Workflow.
For faster development of my Workflow, I would like to add the custom library to the Workflow Sandbox. Unfortunately I could not find the Sandbox through the vertigis ItemManager.
Is there a way to add a custom resource to the sandbox?
Greetings,
Chris

Christoph Wenninger Are you talking about the specific app from VertiGIS Studio Web that is used in the Workflow Sandbox? At this time, these are defined within the sandbox itself. You can specify things like map/scene, locale, printing service and log level, but you cannot choose a custom app.
This is something that we could consider supporting in future, although there is one technical challenge that we need to address in order for this to work. There needs to be a way to include the “Run Workflow” button in the app. We could either try to guess where to put it when it's loaded in the sandbox, or maybe we could add it as a new component within App Designer.

Thanks for your response Ken,
since the custom code was developed by someone else, I wasn't quite sure how to describe it.
After some more research I found out, that it seems to be a custom operation like described here: Build a Custom Command and Operation | VertiGIS Studio Developer CenterSo to specify my question: Is it possible to register a custom operation in de sandbox?

Thanks, Christoph. I think it amounts to the same thing, really. Commands and Operations are not supported in the debug sandbox, so you're talking about VertiGIS Studio Web. We either gradually grow the sandbox settings to support more aspects of the App Designer, or we allow the sandbox to use a custom app.
We're looking into ways of supporting the latter.
