After change Layerstyle, turn back to original renderer
Terminée
After applying a change to the layer style there is no out of the box functionality to turn back to the original Layer Style, visible by start-up. So a user is required to reload his application to see the original style.
I would expect a command such as layers.clear-symbol to go back to original state

Implemented with the 5.36 release.
Added two new commands that allow users to restore original layer filters and symbols: layers.reset-definition-expression and layers.reset-symbols. These commands allow resetting the definitionExpression and symbology (renderer) of one or more layers to their original values. Using these two new commands, four new tools were created:
1) Reset All Filters,
2) Reset All Symbols,
3) Reset Filter, and
4) Reset Symbol. -
Hi Bart
Totally agree!
Please upvote the following post which is asking for the same thing :-)
Custom layer visualizations: Is it possible to return to the layers original state/symbology without refreshing the browser? – VertiGIS Support0 -
Thanks Rasmus! I was surprised I did not find your post, but it's not in the Ideas section. Hopefully this could be picked up soon.

This is very important to have! At least the ability to “Undo” similar to the graphic style editor.
also - changing layer symbology based on an attribute (another idea already posted).
Both of these are needed, but the ability to Undo a layer setting or set the layer back to the default from the map image is needed first.
