Now Available: VertiGIS Studio Mobile 5.34
We’re glad to announce the release of VertiGIS Studio Mobile 5.34, featuring Disconnected Mode—a new and highly requested addition designed to improve usability in areas with limited or unstable connectivity. This release also brings a series of important bug fixes, performance improvements, and deployment enhancements.
What’s New?
Disconnected Mode: Greater Control Over Connectivity
With Disconnected Mode, users can now manually force the app to stop making network requests while their device stays online, ensuring that unstable network conditions won’t interrupt workflows or cause errors. Whether you’re working in areas with intermittent signals or want to avoid unwanted sync attempts, Disconnected Mode offers flexibility for smoother offline experiences.
- Users can activate Disconnected Mode via a toggle button in the app settings or through commands, allowing customization based on different workflows.
- To avoid confusion, a distinct symbol is displayed when the mode is active, providing clear visual feedback to the user.
- Administrators can configure the initial state of Disconnected Mode using the App Designer, ensuring critical offline apps launch in the appropriate state.
- This is the first release containing Disconnected Mode, so in rare cases, a web request may still be sent. If you encounter this, please report it using this link.
Enhanced Deployment Tools and Separate Android Builds
We’ve made significant enhancements to the app deployment process, including import/export functionality for deployment value configurations, collapsible rows for better organization, and the option to name environment values with an optional title field. Additionally, administrators now have the flexibility to create separate builds for Android APKs and AABs, making it easier to target either sideloaded or Play Store deployments.
Furthermore, we updated the Mobile SDK to align with Esri Maps SDK for .NET 200.x!
Bug Fixes and Performance Improvements
This release addresses a wide range of customer-reported issues, improving stability, and resolving Workflow-related crashes when being offline.

Early Warning: Upcoming ECMAScript update in Studio Workflow 5.45 may impact older Mobile Apps
Starting with Studio Workflow 5.45 (May 2025), expressions will be transpiled using ECMAScript 2020, which may cause issues when running updated workflows in Studio Mobile apps version 5.30 or older. To avoid this, we recommend updating to Mobile version 5.32 or later.
